Stool
Need a teak bath stool? A teak bath stool is quite
popular for some reason when it comes to chairs for baths or
showers. There are many uses for a teak bath stool, you
could be pregnant and looking for an easier way to shave your
legs in the shower, or you might have injured yourself and
would rather sit than stand.
Then again, maybe you’re a bit older and you’re nervous
about slipping and falling in the bath and injuring yourself,
or perhaps you’ve just replaced a hip and the last thing you
want to do is damage it again with a slip in the bath.
You know, some people even use these stools as just another
piece of furniture to sit on in the house!
Whatever you need a teak bath stool for, we’re going to look at
a few that you can pick up so that you’ll have a better idea of
which one to get for whatever you need it for:
1. 30” Slat Bench – Teak
Here’s one option I found over at Amazon for $54.99, it is a
rather large bench that can be used within a shower. This
is teak but also has the option of placing rubber feet on the
bottom so that it doesn’t slip and slide around when placed in
the shower. This can be used for sitting on either during
or after showering, or even as a piece of furniture. One
user has used it as a place to sit within a tiny foyer for
instance. It’s a great piece of furniture that fulfills
it’s role.
2. Teak Shower Seat and Bath
Bench
Here’s another one I found at “Allegro Medical” which has
received a 4/5 rating by 14 customers. This is a teak
bench that has adjustable height via aluminum legs with rubber
stoppers on the bottoms. It is lightweight, attractive
and will hold up to weathering showers quite well.
Apart from using this if you have a bad back or shaving your
legs, this is also great to sit on when you’re not feeling well
and you want to take a shower sitting down. This sells
for $74.95 here, however one reviewer mentioned that the chair
wobbles in the shower. Most people though are happy with
it as evidenced by the high rating.
Whichever teak bath stool you go with, be sure to research
it thoroughly and make sure there is a return policy that you
are comfortable with. The other option would be to check
retail stores rather than online, however if you do that, you
won’t have the benefit of reading reviews.
Either way, good luck in the search for the perfect bath
stool.
